Purple Nightmare by CerberusSEL Purple Nightmare by CerberusSEL
Just a hazy nightmare about a giant purple monster destroying the city...

Just a rather quick speed paint I did today, with a more abstract style than my usual monster art.

Update:
His name is "Ikubumon".

Ikubumon is mine.

For real?

Wow

How can you work so fast, but do it so well?

Years and years of practice, as well as taking time to study other works of art to help you to get a better idea how you would want to portray something.

I definitely recommend drawing and doodling frequently to get a feel for your own style and methods, as well as exercise your abilities. These two things helped me to achieve my current ability.

The years of practice and studying I definitely can understand. :)

Unfortunately for me, I only have a few months of experience right now. Literally five months ago, I had no idea how to even draw kaiju (or any type of living creature). I do try simple sketching every day and I try pushing my abilities whenever I can. I just find it very frustrating because I have so many ideas I want to try, but I don't have time (college :-x ). I often over extend myself.

If it is okay with you, I may ask for some constructive criticism on some of my future works. I try my best to be very open with feedback.

Sorry for the bother.
